Missions Conference Men’s Breakfast
Guest Speaker: David Lyons
Topic: “Trusting God”
These are tough times for men and for many men these difficult times cause us to question God and shake our ability to trust Him. Last year, the Forcey family followed very closely the progression of events of David’s son Ian who was battling a very aggressive form of cancer. We listened intently as Pastor Phil often read letters from David to the congregation expressing total trust that God would heal Ian. We were then very saddened to hear when Ian's battle with cancer came to an end. Come join us for breakfast and hear the story of how David, who had totally trusted God to heal Ian, had to come to terms with the fact that God chose to heal Ian in a very different way. The special Missions Conference menu includes Steak and Egg Quiche, Hash browns, Fruit, Pancakes (regular and blueberry), fresh baked biscuits (with creamed chipped beef) Tickets are only $5 on Sunday 14 March in the church lobby, but at the door they’ll be $10!

Who We Are and What We Are About
Who We Are and What We Are About
The Band of Brothers Men’s Community started at Forcey Memorial Church in 1990 with the objective to support and strengthen the men of our church in their Christian walk helping them to become more fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Growing out of the men’s movement that heated up in the early 1990’s with the Promise Keeper stadium conferences, the Band of Brothers Men’s Community of Forcey Memorial Church has touched the lives of hundreds of men!
The Band of Brothers Men's Ministry is a Christ centered ministry dedicated to uniting men of all ages through meaningful relationships, intentional discipleship and encouraging each other to become Godly influences to their friends, in their families, and in the church and community. Our desire is to offer a wide variety of opportunities designed to meet the spiritual, emotional and relational needs of the men of Forcey Memorial Church. The ministry operates at three levels. The first is through large group events where men can connect in a casual non-threatening environment. The second level is through small groups where men can go deeper in relationships with other men. The third level is in helping men find opportunities to disciple and mentor younger men. The Ministry is for men of all ages and stages.
